Member Recognition
Program
We are here to help guide you through the awards process. We are able to provide sample nominations and advice as to what award might best serve your deserving nominee. For complete award details you can consult the National Policies and Procedures, Chapter 10; available for download at www.nsp.org. You are also welcome to contact Far West Division Awards advisor or your local region award advisor for any help you may need.
All nominations for Merit stars, National Appointments, and service awards can be processed at any time. The National Office asks for 45 work days to process awards at the national level, so all other nominations should be sent to the division awards advisor at least 60 days before you need them.
Nominations National Outstanding awards (such as Outstanding Auxiliary, Outstanding Patrol rep, etc.) must be submitted by the Regions to the Division Awards Advisor by Early April. Regions should plan dates for regional review boards accordingly.
